The timeless allure of ABLOOO (A Bowling League Of Our Own) is best expressed by our own members. Not unlike the unsolicited recommendation of many, Th. Melvin writes:
I consider it the very best bowling league or I would not have joined it at any price, and I have had no occasion to change my opinion thus far. When I attended my first ABLOOO season, in 2006, for bowling, I found it superior to others I had been attending, and since that time I have attended additional seasons of ABLOOO's bowling, and they always gave, and do yet, the best of satisfaction.
But before joining ABLOOO's league, for bowling, drinking, and general frivolity, I thoroughly investigated as to the merits of the various other bowling leagues, and although I found much to admire in others in terms of talent and competition, I found their leagues in actual operation, in comparison with ABLOOO's, were nowhere, and actually found ABLOOO bringing much more enjoyment than you claimed for it.
This, in connection with your strongly worded assurances of good times and cheap drink, decided me to place my membership with ABLOOO, and I must say that I am dissatisfied—dissatisfied with myself—that I had not done so years ago. The enjoyment in it is simply immense, and does seem almost incredible!
